Applications are invited on the prescribed form for the temporary post of Young Professional-II (YP-11) under the project titled “Validation of DUS Testing Guidelines for Alstroemeria” (HGI-222-08) currently operational in the Department of Floriculture and Landscape Architecture, College of Horticulture, Dr. Y.S. Parmar University of Horticulture and Forestry, Nauni, Solan. The application form is available for download on the University website www.yspuniversity.ac.in. Applicants are required to carefully read the terms & conditions before filling the application form.

YS Parmar Nauni University Recruitment 2024 – Fee, Last Date, Qualification

Application Fee

• General Category Processing Fee: Rs. 450/-

• Reserve Category Processing Fee: Rs. 110/-

• The application will only be considered valid if it is accompanied by the prescribed processing fee in the form of an IPO/Bank Draft payable at State Bank of India/UCO Bank, Nauni, Solan 173230 (HP) in favor of the Comptroller, Dr. Y.S. Parmar University of Horticulture and Forestry, Nauni, Solan.

Application Procedure:

Completed applications, along with the processing fee and self-attested copy of the category certificate, should reach the following address:

Professor & Head, Department of Floriculture and Landscape Architecture, College of Horticulture, Dr. YSP, UHF, Nauni, Solan – 173 230 (HP) Deadline: Applications must be received by 05:00 PM on 04.03.2024 (Monday).

• Venue: Office Chamber of the Professor & Head, Department of Floriculture and Landscape Architecture, College of Horticulture, Dr. YSP, UHF, Nauni, Solan.

Education Qualifications

Terms and Conditions:

1. The applicant must be a citizen of India.
2. The upper age limit for the temporary post is 35 years for men and 40 years for women. Age relaxation is applicable for reserve category candidates as per Government of India norms.
3. The selected candidate must sign a service contract agreement on stamp paper at the time of joining, renewable annually based on performance.
4. The post is co-terminus with the project, and services can be terminated at any time if not required.
5. Resignation requires one month notice or deposit of one month’s salary.
6. Applicants currently employed in any project must apply through proper channel.
7. The University reserves the right not to fill the post without assigning any reason.
8. No separate interview letter will be issued, and candidates must bear their own expenses for attending the interview.
9. Original testimonials must be presented at the time of the interview.
10. Any inadvertent mistakes are subject to correction.
11. No TA/DA will be provided for attending the interview.
12. Non-attendance of the interview without valid reasons will not be entertained.
13. Incomplete or late applications will be rejected.
14. Candidates with marks issued in the form of CGPA/OGPA must attach an approved conversion table/formula with the application form.
