UPSC CMS 2024: The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has released the official notification for the Combined Medical Services Examination or CMS 2024. Interested candidates can apply by visiting the official website, upsconline.nic.in.
The application window for this examination will remain open until 6:00 PM on April 30, 2024. After the closure of the application window, the Commission will open the application correction/editing window for candidates from May 1 to May 7, 2024.
Under this recruitment campaign, a total of 827 medical officer positions will be filled in various government departments.

UPSC CMS Exam 2024 Application Fee:
- Candidates need to pay an application fee of Rs. 200 to submit their application. Female/SC/ST/PwBD candidates are exempted from paying the fee.
Age Limit
Candidates participating in this examination must be below 32 years of age. However, there is no upper age limit for candidates applying for the Medical Officer Grade in the Central Health Services. The upper age limit for reserved category candidates is relaxed.
UPSC CMS Exam 2024 Educational Qualification:
To participate in this examination, candidates must have passed the final MBBS examination.
Selection Process:
The UPSC CMS 2024 examination will consist of two stages. Both papers will be written tests (500 marks each), with a maximum of 250 marks for each paper. Each paper will be of two hours duration. Candidates will be shortlisted for the Personality Test (100 marks) based on the results of the written examination.

- First, candidates should visit the official website, upsconline.nic.in.
- Then, go to the ‘Online Recruitment Application for Various Examinations of UPSC’ section and click on the application link.
- After filling out the registration form, make the payment of the fee.
- Only after uploading the documents, candidates should choose the examination center and submit the form.
- Download the form and take a printout for future reference.
