SSC JE 2024 Notification Out: The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has released the notification for the Junior Engineer recruitment exam for Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, and Electrical Engineering positions. Along with the notification, the commission has also started the registration process for SSC JE. The commission has announced to fill approximately 968 vacancies under various departments.

How To Apply:

1. Generate One-Time Registration (OTR) on the new SSC website (https://ssc.gov.in). The old OTR from the previous website (https://ssc.nic.in) is no longer valid.
2. Fill the application form online on the SSC official website.
3. Ensure your photograph meets the specified criteria given in Annexure XV.
4. Upload a clear signature in JPEG format (10 to 20 KB).
5. Deadline for application submission: 18-04-2024 (2300 hours).
6. Submit well in advance to avoid website congestion.
7. Verify all details before final submission using the Preview/Print option.
8. Application fee: Rs 100/- (Rs one hundred only). Exempt for women, SC, ST, PwBD, and Ex-Servicemen.
9. Payment methods: BHIM UPI, Net Banking, Visa, MasterCard, Maestro, or RuPay Credit/Debit card.
10. Check payment status to ensure successful transaction.
11. Application corrections window: 22-04-2024 to 23-04-2024 (2300 hours).
12. Note: Paid fees are non-refundable and cannot be adjusted for other exams.
