The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) is set to conduct the Junior Engineer (Civil, Mechanical, and Electrical) recruitment exam starting tomorrow, June 5, 2024. Candidates who will be appearing for the exam must thoroughly understand the guidelines issued by the commission to avoid any inconvenience.
SSC JE Admit Card and Valid ID Required
Candidates can download their admit cards from the official SSC website (ssc.nic.in). The admit card is a crucial document required for entry into the examination center. Along with the admit card, candidates must also bring a valid photo ID for verification purposes. Acceptable forms of ID include Aadhaar Card, Voter ID Card, PAN Card, Passport, or Driving License.
Prohibited Items at the Exam Center
Candidates are strictly advised not to carry any electronic gadgets to the exam center. Items such as smartwatches, mobile phones, Bluetooth devices, earphones, microphones, health bands, or any other electronic gadgets are prohibited. If a candidate is found using any unauthorized gadget, legal action will be taken against them.
Timely Arrival
It is essential for candidates to arrive at the examination center at least 30 minutes before the scheduled time. Latecomers will not be allowed to enter the examination hall under any circumstances.
SSC JE Exam Dates and Mode
The SSC JE Exam will be conducted on June 5, 6, and 7, 2024, across various centers nationwide. The exam will be conducted in a Computer-Based Test (CBT) mode.

- Locate and click on the admit card link on the homepage.
- Enter your application number and date of birth in the specified fields.
- Submit the information, and your SSC JE admit card will be displayed on the screen.
- Download and print the admit card for future reference.
