Pre Primary Teacher Recruitment 2024: 6,297 Pre-Primary Teachers to be Hired on Outsource Basis in Himachal, Know the Rules

A total of 6,297 pre-primary teachers will be hired on an outsource basis in the government schools of Himachal Pradesh. These recruitments will be conducted through the State Electronics Corporation.

In Himachal Pradesh, 6,297 pre-primary teachers will be recruited on an outsource basis in government schools. The State Electronics Corporation will facilitate these recruitments. Candidates who have completed a two-year Nursery Teacher Training (NTT) diploma will be eligible to apply. On Tuesday, Education Secretary Rakesh Kanwar issued a letter regarding this to the Directorate of Elementary Education. Approximately 60,000 students are registered in Himachal’s 6,297 pre-primary schools.

The recruited teachers will be designated as Early Childhood Care and Education Instructors. In a recent cabinet meeting, it was decided to appoint Early Childhood Care and Education Instructors in the education department to provide better education to young children. These recruitments will be carried out following the rules of the central government. Only those who have completed NTT from registered institutions will be eligible to apply.

Vacancy information will be provided to fill the positions. After selecting the corporations, teachers will be appointed through outsourcing.

Monthly Honorarium Set at 10,000 INR

The monthly honorarium for teachers has been set at 10,000 INR. This amount includes agency charges, GST, and other expenses. According to the information, the Electronics Corporation currently charges a 5% agency fee, with a 10% deduction for EPF. GST on outsource recruitment is 18%. Teachers will receive approximately 7,000 INR cash in hand each month.
