IBPS PO 2024:

The Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) has started the application process for the recruitment of Probationary Officers (PO) and Management Trainees (MT) in various banks. Interested candidates can apply for these positions through the official website.

Notification and Application Details

The IBPS has announced the Common Recruitment Process (CRP PO/MT) for Probationary Officers and Management Trainees for the year 2024. With the release of the notification, the registration and application process has also commenced. Interested candidates can visit the official IBPS website at ibps.in to apply. Punjab & Sind Bank: 360 vacancies

Union Bank of India: Not reported

Eligibility Criteria

Age Limit

Candidates must be at least 20 years old and not more than 30 years old as of August 1, 2024. This means the candidate must have been born between August 2, 1994, and August 1, 2004.
Reserved category candidates are eligible for age relaxation as per government norms.

Educational Qualification

Candidates should possess a graduation degree in any discipline from a recognized university or an equivalent qualification recognized by the Government of India.
The candidate must have a valid mark sheet/degree certificate at the time of registration.

Application Fee

For UR, EWS, and OBC category candidates: ₹850
For SC, ST, and PWBD category candidates: ₹175

Selection Process

Preliminary Examination

This is a qualifying exam consisting of three sections: English Language, Quantitative Aptitude, and Reasoning Ability. Each section has 20 minutes with a total of 100 marks.

Main Examination

The main exam includes objective tests (Reasoning & Computer Aptitude, General/Economy/Banking Awareness, English Language, Data Analysis & Interpretation) and a descriptive test (Letter Writing and Essay).

Interview

Candidates who pass the main examination will be called for a personal interview conducted by participating banks and coordinated by a nodal bank in each state/UT.

Visit the official IBPS website at ibps.in.
On the home page, click on the ‘IBPS PO 2024 Advertisement’ link.
Click on the ‘New Registration’ tab to register.

A registration ID and password will be generated.
Upload scanned copies of your photograph and signature.
Provide necessary details such as personal information, educational qualifications, computer certification course, preferences of banks, etc.
Upload the left thumb impression and handwritten declaration.
Pay the application fee and click on submit.
