The Himachal Pradesh Board of School Education (HPBOSE) has initiated the registration process for the Himachal Pradesh Teacher Eligibility Test. Interested candidates have until May 28 to apply.

Subjects for Registration:
The Himachal Pradesh Board of School Education released the notification on May 7, stating that candidates can register for the TET in eight subjects, including TGT (Arts/Medical/Non-Medical), Language Teacher, JBT, Shastri, Punjabi, and Urdu, until May 28.
Candidates who wish to participate in the Himachal Pradesh TET 2024 can register themselves on the official website of HPBOSE, hpbose.org, by filling out the available online form. Application Fee:
During the application process, candidates are required to pay the prescribed examination fee of Rs. 800. However, for candidates belonging to the state’s OBC/SC/ST/PH categories, the fee is Rs. 500. Candidates should note that an additional three days are provided for applications after the specified deadline, but during this period, candidates will have to pay an additional late fee of Rs. 300.
Who Can Register:
Candidates applying for Himachal Pradesh TET (Arts) must have a minimum of 50% marks in Bachelor’s or Master’s degree and should have completed B.Ed thereafter. Senior Secondary pass candidates with at least 50% marks can also register after completing a 4-year B.El.Ed or B.Ed program. For more information, candidates can refer to the official notification.
