CBI Recruitment 2024: Central Bank of India Extends Application Deadline for Apprentice Positions

The Central Bank of India (CBI) has extended the deadline for applications for the apprentice positions under its apprenticeship policy. Interested candidates can now apply for various apprentice positions until June 17, 2024, through the National Apprenticeship Portal (nats.education.gov.in) or the official Central Bank of India website (centralbankofindia.co.in). This recruitment drive aims to fill a total of 3,000 apprentice vacancies, with the tentative date for the written examination being June 23, 2024.

Extended Application Window

The official notification states, “The bank has decided to reopen the application window for the recruitment of apprentices from June 6 to June 17, 2024. This extension is also available for eligible candidates who had previously registered but were unable to complete the fee payment.”

Vacancy Details

The recruitment campaign aims to fill 3,000 apprentice positions for a fixed period. The appointment of the selected candidates will be contingent upon being declared medically fit by a qualified doctor and the verification of documents by bank officials.

Eligibility Criteria of CBI Recruitment 2024

• Age Limit: Candidates should be born between April 1, 1996, and March 31, 2004. Age relaxation is applicable for reserved category candidates as per government norms.
• Educational Qualification: Applicants must possess a bachelor’s degree in any discipline from a recognized university or an equivalent qualification recognized by the Central Government. Additionally, candidates must have completed their bachelor’s degree after March 30, 2020, and must provide proof of this.
