UPSC CDS 2 2024 Notification Released

The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has issued the notification for UPSC Combined Defence Services Examination 2 (CDS) 2024. The commission has commenced the application process for the CDS 2 examination. The online application form has been released on the official website upsc.gov.in. Interested candidates can view the notification and submit their applications within the stipulated timeframe.

Application Deadline: June 4th

The deadline to submit the CDS 2 application form is June 4th. Candidates are advised to fill out the CDS application form and submit it within the specified timeframe. UPSC utilizes the Online Recruitment Application (ORA) portal for applications. Therefore, candidates need to register themselves on the UPSC website before proceeding with the CDS application process.

Application Fee for UPSC CDS 2 2024

Before applying for the CDS 2 exam, candidates should ensure that they have a stable internet connection and necessary documents. The application fee for the CDS 2 exam is Rs. 200 for all categories except SC/ST and female candidates, who are exempted from payment. The fee can be paid online through the portal.

Candidates are advised to save or print the CDS 2 application form for future reference. In some cases, the board also opens a CDS application form correction window where candidates can make any necessary changes to their application forms.

Once candidates have successfully submitted their CDS 2 2024 application, they will receive their admit cards. For any details regarding the exam pattern, syllabus, admit card, candidates can refer to the official notification.

  1. Register on the website using an email ID/mobile number and create a password.
  2. Go to the “Latest Notification” tab.
  3. View the Combined Defence Services Examination (CDS) 2 notification and click on “Apply Online”.
  4. Fill in all the required details carefully and double-check the entered information.
  5. Upload the necessary documents.
  6. Pay the CDS 2 application fee as per the category.
  7. Review the CDS 2 application form and submit it.
