UGC NET June 2024 Notification

The National Testing Agency (NTA) has released the UGC-NET June 2024 notification for the recruitment of candidates for the post of ‘Assistant Professor’ and ‘Junior Research Fellowship & Assistant Professor’ both.

Eligibility Criteria:

Educational Qualifications:

Candidates must possess a Master’s Degree or an equivalent examination from universities/institutions recognized by the UGC.

Age Criteria:

For Junior Research Fellowship (JRF): Not exceeding 30 years as on 1st June 2024.
For Assistant Professor: There is no upper age limit. Age relaxation will be applicable as per government rules.

Application Fee:

General/ Unreserved: Rs. 1150/-
Other Backward Classes (OBC) – (NCL)/ Economically Weaker Section (EWS): Rs. 600/-
SC/ ST/ PwD/ Third Gender: Rs. 325/-

Candidates can pay the application fee through the integrated Payment Gateway(s) during the online application process using Net Banking, Debit Card, Credit Card, or UPI.

Start Date for Online Application & Fee Payment: 20th April 2024
Last Date for Online Application: 10th May 2024, up to 11:50 PM
Last Date for Fee Payment (Credit Card/ Debit Card/Net Banking/UPI): 11th to 12th May 2024, up to 11:50 PM
Application Form Correction: 13th to 15th May 2024, up to 11:50 PM
Exam Date: 16th June 2024
Intimation of Exam Cities: To be announced
Admit Card Download: To be announced
Exam Duration: 180 minutes (3 hours) with no break between Paper 1 & Paper 2
Exam Timing: To be announced
Exam Centre, Date, and Shift: As indicated on the Admit Card
Display of Recorded Responses and Provisional Answer Keys: To be announced
Result Declaration: To be announced on the NTA website
